LONG-TERM ON-CALL WEEKEND NANNY needed in CHICAGO, IL 60607 (LITTLE ITALY)

This busy father has 2 children: 7-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy and is seeking an engaging, flexible, and reliable On-Call Weekend Nanny to stay with them long-term. Both children have ADHD and Autism but are very high functioning. Duties include: occasionally picking up the children from mom’s house on Friday and bringing them to dad’s house, play with them, go outdoors, make meals for the children, and occasionally drive them back to mom’s house Sunday afternoon/evening. MUST BE OR WILLING TO BECOME CPR CERTIFIED. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, dependable, and hands-on.

Work days and hours:

Due to dad being a doctor, he is on-call over the weekend. Nanny will need to be on-call for 2 weekends a month (starting on Friday at 5pm and ending on-call on Sunday by 5pm). Nanny could work anywhere between 4-12 hours for the weekend. Nanny will be guaranteed 12 hours a month pay (even if Nanny is not needed). Dad will let the Nanny know by the 25th or 26th of each month what weekends for the following month they will need to be on-call for. 

NOTE: Must be an experienced driver. Nanny will need to use own car to drive the children and will be reimbursed for gas mileage. Paid street parking will be provided to the Nanny.

Duties include: plan meals, grocery shopping (chef can do the shopping or provide a list to the family), prepare lunches for parents on the weekdays the chef is there, prepare lunches for the whole family on the weekend day that the chef is there, prepare dinner for the whole family on the days the chef comes + additional food to cover lunches/dinners for the days the chef is off and clean up after cooking.  Meals should be healthy, low-sugar, low-carb and of a variety. Since the family has 3 children, part of the meal should be tailored to be more kid-friendly. Mom is dairy-free. Family enjoys a variety of meals but Asian cuisine is their favorite, so someone who is comfortable/experienced cooking Asian cuisine would be a big plus! Some examples of meals they like: proteins (meatballs, chicken, salmon, etc.), veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, etc.), etc. Chef must have prior experience as a Private Chef working for a family with children, have a knowledge of a variety of cooking styles and be open to feedback. PART-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CLARENDON HILLS, IL 60514

This professional dad has 2 children: a 7-year-old girl and a 3-year-old boy and is seeking a reliable, caring, and organized Nanny-Household Manager to stay with them long-term. Duties include: pick up the children on Thursday and and manage evening routines, prepare meals and snacks for the children, assist with homework and age-appropriate learning activities, plan engaging indoor and outdoor activities, support bath time and bedtime routines, children’s laundry and organization, tidy play areas and bedrooms, keep children’s items organized (toys, clothes, backpacks), light meal prep and cleanup related to the children, assist with errands or activity prep as needed, pick-up from school and take to/from activities, and occasionally let the dog out. The ideal candidate will be attentive, nurturing, and calm.

This is a part-time position for 27-30 hours per week

Work days and hours:

Thursday: 4pm-8:30pm

Friday: 4pm-8:30pm

Saturday and Sunday: between the hours of 8am-8pm (NOTE: one weekend day will be a full day and one weekend day will be a half day. Dad will let the Nanny know at least 1 week in advanced on start and end times)

NOTE: If Nanny would be interested in additional hours—Friday mornings would be a huge help! 6am-9am (getting children ready for the day, making them breakfast, helping the daughter with her hair, packing lunches and backpacks, and taking them to school)

This friendly family has 1 child: 13 year old boy and is seeking a happy, punctual and creative part-time Nanny to stay with them long-term. Child has moderate Autism so keeping a daily schedule for him is very important for predictability of his day. Special needs experience would be a plus, but not a must.  Duties include: pick up child from school, drive to/from after-school activities, take to parks, playgrounds, activities, zoo, library, etc., come up with fun activities to do with child based off of his interests, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher and child's laundry (if time allows). Nanny should be creative to come up with things to do with him based on his interests The ideal Nanny will be reliable, very warm, caring and understanding. 

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 2:30pm-6:30pm

This friendly family has 1 child: 13-year-old boy and is seeking a proactive, friendly and flexible Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. 13 year old is in school during the day and is at the home half of the time, so majority of the day will be household management tasks and driving.  Duties include: pick up child from school, drive to/from after school activities, drive to/from camps in the summer, prepare snacks, ensure child does his homework, play and engage in appropriate activities with child--sports, games, etc. tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, family laundry, make beds, run errands--ex: dry cleaning, returns, grocery shopping, etc., organizational projects, helping come up with organizational systems, let in home repairs/maintenance services, pack/unpack for trips, pet care--feed, walk dog, etc., meal prep and helping prepare dinner would be big plus but not a must, help with holiday decor and any additional projects that the family may need help with. Nanny must be a confident driver as son's school is 30 minutes away so there will be a lot of driving involved. The ideal candidate will be reliable, experienced with household management and organized.

**NOTE: Family is having a baby in May. If candidate is interested, they could transition into the Newborn Nanny and not do the household management tasks. However, this is not a must, as the position would remain the same and they would hire a separate person to work as the Nanny for the baby. If this person is interested in being the Newborn Nanny--he/she should have newborn experience and know how to swim (they have a pool).

This busy family is seeking a proactive, trustworthy and experienced Housekeeper-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term.  **There is another Housekeeper in the home that will handle some of the cleaning as well.  Duties may vary week to week but can include: Cleaning of the large home (main living areas regularly--kitchen, entry way, bedrooms and bathrooms and less used rooms on a schedule), laundry, ironing as needed, dishes, restocking of household products, orders for groceries/items (ex: Costco, amazon, etc.), organizational projects, helping with putting up and taking down holiday decorations, tiding up common areas ( including the 3 children's bedrooms, make their beds, put things away, etc. and play spaces), coordination with household providers (ex: pool, lawn, electrician, plumbing, etc.), water plants, seasonal tasks (ensure patio, pool areas are neat/tidy/picked up) and polish silverware as needed, The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and be comfortable working in a large household with children and animals. This person should be an excellent communicator, dedicated and discrete. Parents work from home on occasion.

The ideal candidate will know how to keep a cleaning schedule on their own, be very independent and punctual. 

This is a long-term position for 2 days/week

Work days and hours:

1 day at House  #1: 6 hours. Flexible on the day of the week as long as it's a weekday. Start/end time between 8am-3pm.

1 day at House #2: 4 hours. Flexible on the day of the week as long as it's a weekday. Prefers 8am-12pm.
