FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME TEMPORARY NANNY needed in NAPERVILLE, IL 60540

START: ASAP AND GO UNTIL END OF DECEMBER

This friendly family has twin 5 month old baby boys and is seeking an experienced, reliable and loving Nanny to stay with their family for the next few months. Duties include: infant care (changing diapers, prepare bottles, naps, etc.), wash and sterilize bottles, feed baby solids when family starts this, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with babies to ensure they are meeting their milestones, read books, sing songs, etc., tidy up common areas, clean up toys, and babies laundry if time allows. The ideal candidate will have infant experience (twin experience would be a +), be very warm and patient. 

Work days and hours:

Option 1: Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm

Option 2: 4 days/week: 9am-5pm

Option 3: 3 days/week: 9am-5pm 

NOTE: Some flexibility is needed on occasion--ex: start later, end later, etc.

NOTE: Opportunity for position to turn into long-term if both sides are interested. 


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--based on experience--TAKE HOME

PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME NANNY or NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CLARENDON HILLS, IL 60514

This busy family has 3 children: 7-year-old girl, 6-year-old boy and 5-year-old boy and is seeking a reliable, patient and kind Nanny to stay with their family long-term. All 3 children have ADHD. Nanny should be very patient, understanding and comfortable working with them. Ideally someone with experience with children with ADHD would be ideal but not a must. 

Duties will vary depending on which schedule option the Nanny chooses but can include: get children ready for school, prepare meals and snacks for kids, drive to/from school and after-school activities, help with homework, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children--games, arts and crafts, sports, outdoor activities, etc., take to parks, playgrounds, library, museums, etc., tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, laundry and some light help with the dog--feed, clean up pee pad, etc. If Nanny chooses an option with household management duties this can include: errands, meal prep/cooking, tidying up common areas, dishes, organizational projects, grocery shopping, family laundry, etc. Mom and dad work 2-3 times a week from home.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, firm but loving, energetic, engaging and capable of working with children with ADHD. 

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (40-45 hours/week) Split Schedule: Monday-Friday: 7am-9am and 12/1pm-7/8pm (This option would include household management duties during the times kids are in school)

Option 2 (35-40hours/week): Monday-Friday: 11am-7pm or 12pm-7pm with some flexibility to stay later until 8pm as needed. *Flexibility to come earlier/end earlier when husband travels and off days at school. (This option would include household management duties during the times the kids are in school)

Option 3 (30 hours/week): Split schedule--Monday-Friday: 7am-9am and 4pm-8pm (Just nanny duties)

Option 4 (20 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 4pm-8pm (Just nanny duties) 

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities and to run family errands.

This friendly family has 3 children: 8-year-old girl, 5-year-old boy and 2-year-old girl and is seeking a patient, positive and engaging Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: picking up kids from school (some of the time mom will and some of the time Nanny will need to), prepare healthy snacks, homework help as needed, take kids to/from activities (sometimes solo and sometimes tag-teaming with mom and dad if kids need to be at the same place at same time),  engaging in activities with kids--playing sports, arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, etc., take to parks, playgrounds, library, zoo, etc., tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher,  ensuring children clean up after themselves, laundry, meal prep, organizational projects and errands The ideal candidate will be imaginative and creative, kind, patient and has experience working with multiple different ages of children. Mom works from home.

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (40 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 12pm-8pm

Option 2 (37.5 hours/week ): Monday-Friday: 12pm-7:30pm

Option 3 (35 hours/week ): Monday-Friday: 12pm-7pm

Option 4 (32.5 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 12pm-6:30pm

Option 4 (30 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 12pm-6pm  

NOTE: Can add weekend hours to any of the above schedules to increase hours as well.

NOTE: Some flexibility is needed to shift hours a bit earlier when kids have off days, etc. It would be a plus if nanny could help with occasional overnights; but not a must.

*NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver and have own vehicle to be used at times (sometimes family vehicle can be used, and sometimes own). Mileage will be reimbursed.

NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in BARRINGTON, IL 60010

This friendly and busy family has 1 child: 15-year-old boy and is seeking a dependable, understanding and patient Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. The boy has Autism Spectrum Disorder, so the nanny should be comfortable dealing with individuals who are on the spectrum or willing to learn it (providing notices; repeating tasks, etc.). Duties include: cook a simple dinner for the family, drive child to and from appointments/school/activities, remind him about his homework, laundry, tidy up the kitchen and common areas, load/empty the dishwasher, grocery shopping, run errands, pet-care. Mom works in a medical field and has a busy schedule, so they are seeking someone who is organized, flexible and takes initiative. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 20 hours a week.

 Work days and hours:

Monday: 2/3pm - 6/7pm

Tuesday: 2/3pm - 6/7pm

Wednesday: 2/3pm - 6/7pm

Thursday: 2/3pm - 6/7pm

Friday: 2/3pm - 6/7pm

Plus 2-3 Saturday mornings for 4-5 hours over a 6-week period -- mom will inform in advance which Saturdays. 

NOTE #1: Nanny must be an experienced driver and will have to use their own car to drive children to/from school and activities and will get compensated for mileage.

Salary: $35/hour before taxes.

NOTE #2:

On certain national holidays, mom may need to work, and the nanny will be asked to work a half-day. When working on a national holiday, the nanny will be paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate for hours worked.

Duties include: tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher,  laundry, organizational projects, pick up youngest child at 10:30am, take youngest to therapy sessions (speech and OT) as needed, pick up other children at 3:30pm, drive children to/from after-school activities, prepare healthy after-school snacks for kids, prepare dinner for kids, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children, help girls with hair braiding, nail painting, costumes, crafts, play outside, play sports, take to parks, playgrounds, library, museums, etc., run errands if needed and let dog out as needed. The ideal candidate will be punctual, creative, organized, calm and an excellent communicator.

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (40 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 10am-6pm

Option 2 (37.5 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 10:30am-6pm

Option 3 (42.5 hours/week): Monday-Friday:: 9:30am-6pm

This active family has 3 children: 7 year old girl, 5 year old boy and  almost 3 year old boy and is seeking an outgoing, outdoorsy and organized Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. 7 year old and 5 year old will be in full day school and 3  year old 1/2 day school, so the position will be combination of nanny duties (when children are home) and household management duties (when children are in school or napping).

Duties will include: organizational projects (toys, art cabinets, kids' closets, pantry, etc.), tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, family laundry, run errands as needed, meal preparation and cook meals, store exchanges, pack/unpack for trips, take family vehicle to get gas, car wash, maintenance as needed, drive children to/from school and after-school activities, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children, prepare snacks and meals for kids, ensure children do their homework, set up playdates, play board games, sports, arts and crafts, go outside, take to parks, playgrounds, library, zoo, swimming, etc. and kindly (with patience, games, silliness, etc.) help implement chores for children (ex: clean up their toys, make snacks/help with dinner, put dishes away, etc.). Mom works from home most of the time. Husband travels for work most of the time. 

Home is screen-free, so Nanny should be very engaging, creative and active with the children. The ideal candidate will be flexible, playful, silly, compassionate and loving. 

Work days and hours (35 hours/week):

Monday: 1pm - 6pm (Flex to 1-9 in the Fall/Winter and one other day will start later to accommodate)

Tuesday: 8am - 6pm

Wednesday: 8am - 6pm

This friendly and busy family has 3 children: 4.5-year-old girl, 2.5-year-old boy and 10-month-old girl is seeking an engaging, reliable and active Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: Create and implement lesson plans with the 2 oldest children (baby can go in pack and play, bouncer or sit next to nanny while the children work), infant care (feeding, diapers, naps, etc.), feed dogs and let them in the yard as needed, prepare snacks and meals for kids, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities for kids, read books, sing songs, do arts and crafts, and tidy up common areas. Parents work from home. The ideal candidate will be structured, happy and professional. 

The children have some medical needs (youngest has an egg allergy and requires an epi-pen in case of emergency, middle child has an overheating issue (from warm temperature and/or activity) and oldest has the same overheating issue and a choking issue. 

Requirements of the Nanny:

• Must be up to date on all vaccinations including tdap, MMR, Flu and COVID
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get certified
• Must have at least 5 years of professional Nanny experience 
• An education degree is plus-but not a must! 

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (preferred) 35-39 hours per week:

Tuesday: 8am-5pm

Wednesday: 8am-5pm

Thursday: 8am-5pm

Friday: 8am-4pm

NOTE: Family can be flexible on the above scheduled if needed: 35-39 hours per week as long the added hours are Tuesday-Friday

Option 2 (Full-time) 40 hours per week:
