PART-TIME NANNY-MOTHER'S HELPER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60613 (ROSCOE VILLAGE)

This loving family has 1 child: 4-month-old baby boy and is seeking a friendly, helpful and reliable Nanny-Mother's Helper to stay with them long-term. Mom stays home and is looking for someone to help her--some days it will be more household duties, sometimes more childcare, sometimes a mix--candidate should be flexible and helpful!

Duties include: newborn care (diapers, feeding, naptime), bathe child as needed, get child ready for the day, prepare bottles, wash/sterilize bottles, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities, give child solids when old enough, family laundry, dishes, tidy up common areas/light housekeeping tasks, take out the trash, run errands as needed, meal prep and help making dinner as needed, grocery shopping, store exchanges/returns, organizational projects,  wait for repairs/maintenance services, etc. Nanny must have newborn/infant experience. The ideal candidate will be sociable, easy to get along with and proactive. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 33 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Option 1: 3 days/week (Flexible on the days and start/end times. Hours can be between 25-35 hours/week)

Option 2: 4 days/week (Flexible on the days and start/end times. Hours can be between 25-35 hours/week)

Option 3: 5 days/week (Monday-Friday: Flexible on start/end times. Hours can be between 25-35 hours/week)

This loving family has 1 child: 2 year old girl and is expecting another baby in February and is seeking a helpful, proactive and engaging Nanny-Mother's Helper to stay with their family long-term. Mom stays home and is looking for someone to help her with day-to-day tasks. Some days will be more household duties, and some days may be a mix of childcare and household duties. Flexibility is key here! Duties will include: light housekeeping--wiping down counters, load/unload dishwasher, picking up clutter, vacuuming/mopping kitchen/play areas, etc., laundry, meal prep, organizational projects, returns/exchanges, letting dog out, walking dog, occasional errands, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with 2 year old, take 2 year old to parks, playgrounds, etc., and help with newborn as needed when baby arrives,. The ideal candidate will be maternal, loving, good with the household tasks and easy to get along with. 

This is a long-term position for 3 days and 24 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (24 hours/week--Preferred Schedule): Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 9am-5pm

Option 2 (24 hours/week): 3 days per week. Flexible on the 3 days as long as they are weekdays. 9am-5pm

NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in EVANSTON, IL 60201

This happy and busy family has 2 children: 11-year-old boy and 7-year-old girl and is seeking a playful, punctual, and loving Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. The 11-year-old boy is Dyslexic (he is behind in reading and writing) and has anxiety (he attends school for learning disorders and is in speech therapy). The 7-year-old girl has ADHD and anxiety and is therapy and occupational therapy. She also is transgender—Nanny-Household Manager MUST fully support her journey. Both children are very sweet! Duties include: pack lunches, school carpool for oldest child, (not every day--split between other families), make sure youngest child gets out the door for school, make a grocery list, run errands (grocery shopping, drop off and pick up dry cleaning, pick up prescriptions, etc.), light housekeeping (tidy up home and wipe down kitchen counter), children's laundry, take children to activities and therapies, and start children's dinner. Mom works from home occasionally and dad works from home when he is not traveling. The ideal candidate will be responsible, joyful, and patient.

Work days and hours

**This is a split schedule**

Monday-Friday: 7:15am-10am and then 3pm-6pm

NOTE: Available to occasionally work later—this is a plus not a must!

NOTE: Nanny-Household Manager must be an experienced driver. You will need to use your own car to drive children and run errands. For the carpool—it is for the oldest child. No car seats are needed and one child can sit in the front seat (4 children total). Carpool is not every day (split between families). Family will reimburse for mileage. 

Salary: $54,000-$58,000 per year BEFORE TAXES

PART-TIME NANNY-MOTHER'S HELPER needed in GLENVIEW, IL 60025

This happy family has 3 children: 3-year-old boy, almost 2-year-old boy, and almost 1-year-old girl and is seeking an engaging, proactive, and confident Nanny-Mother’s Helper to stay with their family long-term. The oldest child has Autism (he is non-verbal-he does not speak or understand language yet-he is a sweet child who will just need a lot of attention to ensure he does not break anything or harm himself) and the 2^nd child is not speaking yet (he is in speech therapy). Duties include: accompany mom with children to the pool, children museum, zoo, parks/playgrounds, activities, country club, etc., go out to eat with the family or attend special events, care for children while mom gets things done around the home or run errands (2-3 hours each day), play WITH the children (not just observing), put down for naps, baby care (feeding, diaper, and naptime), and help with laundry. Must be comfortable working alongside mom most of the time. Dad works in and out of the home. Nanny-Mother’s Helper must be active enough to keep up with the children and be able to go up/down the stairs and lift children into the car. The ideal candidate will be energetic/active, reliable, and take initiative.

This is a long-term part-time position for 3 days and 28.5 hours per week

Work days and hours

3 days a week (any days as long as it is during the week): 9am-6:30pm

NOTE: Nanny-Mother’s Helper must be an experienced driver. Family will provide car for Nanny to use and/or mother will drive

NOTE: Nanny-Mother’s Helper cannot have any facial piercings (safety hazard with the younger children)

NOTE: Nanny-Mother’s helper must not have too many visible tattoos and dress appropriately (example: no midriff shirts, holes in jeans, etc., as some of the outings will take place at their country club)

NOTE: Nanny-Mother’s Helper must travel with the family (domestically—all drivable locations) one or two times (for 2-4 days) per year

NOTE: Occasional date night is a plus but not a must!

NOTE: There are cameras in the home (not just for the Nanny—family has landscapers, cleaners, etc.)

Duties include: tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, run errands, family laundry, organizational projects, pick up children from school, drive to/from after-school activities, prepare snacks for kids, after-school routine--empty backpack, empty lunch box, do homework, etc., prepare dinner, and play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with kids/keep them off screens--ex: games, parks, sports, arts and crafts, etc. The ideal candidate will be organized, dedicated and active with the kids. 

 Work days and hours:

(20 hours/week):  Monday-Friday: 2pm-6pm

**Nanny will have to use her car to drive children to/from school and activities and will get compensated for mileage.

This busy and friendly family has 3 children: 8 year old, 6 year old and 4 year old and is seeking a reliable, trustworthy and fun Nanny-Household Manager to stay with them for many years. Children are at school during the day, so household management duties will need to be done in the times where the children are at school. Duties can include: tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, run errands as needed, grocery shopping, prepare snacks and meals for children, do family laundry,  play and engage with children in developmentally appropriate activities, evening routine on the nights where family needs the Nanny to stay later, drive children to/from activities as needed, and play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities. The ideal candidate will be flexible, proactive, loving and upbeat. 

NOTE: Driving will be needed and use of nanny's vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed. 

This is a long-term position for 4 days and 25-30 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Tuesday: 10am-8/9pm

Thursday: 10am-6pm

Friday: 10am-6pm

NOTE: The 8/9pm evening could sometimes be on a Thur or Fri, sand sometimes might need 2 later evenings per week. Advanced notice will be given.

This outdoorsy family has 1 child: 10-month-old baby boy and is seeking a dedicated, active, and engaging Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: baby care (feeding, diaper, naptime), create age-appropriate activities, baby meal prep (natural foods), baby’s laundry, light housekeeping while baby is napping (tidy up common areas, pick up toys, and do the baby’s dishes), lots of outdoor time (more than inside), trips to the Botanical Gardens, and let the dog out and feed on occasion. MUST BE or willing to become CPR/Fist Aid certified. Dad woks from home 2 days a week. Nanny must be able to SWIM and MUST LOVE DOGS! The ideal candidate will be outdoorsy, committed, and fun.

Work days and hours:

Wednesday: 8am-12pm

Friday: 8am-12pm
