This friendly family of 4 is seeking an experienced, careful and detail-oriented Housekeeper to stay with their family long-term. Deep clean and maintain the 7,000 square foot home, pick up clutter and put back in correct places, keep up with organizational systems and organizational projects, load/unload dishwasher, make beds, change bed linens, take garbage out, family laundry--(knowing how to read labels/what needs to be hung, dried, sent to dry cleaning, etc.), and errands-such as dry cleaning. Parent works from home. The ideal candidate will be experienced both with housekeeping and laundry, friendly and proactive around the house--ex: knows to clean out fridge when it looks like it needs to be cleaned, sees a shirt with a stain--treats it, etc. 

Work days and hours:

15 hours per week. Spread over 2 or 3 days per week. Monday is a must day and the other day can be any other weekday. Start time must be 7:30am or 8am.

Professional family of 4 needs a proactive Household Manager-Housekeeper to help run their home. Duties include laundry (experience with designer clothes and handbags), running errands, grocery shopping, daily cleaning and tidying of the home, feeding dogs, arranging repairs and maintenance services, organizational projects, and caring for high-end items, like China and crystal. Occasional child care needed, such as picking up kids from school and taking them to an activity. The family does own a second home, and the Household Manager will need to coordinate basic maintenance of the second home remotely. The family does have a biweekly deep-cleaning service. The ideal candidate will be communicative, motivated, and organized. Both parents work from home and also travel frequently. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 32 - 35 hours a week. There is some flexibility with the exact work schedule.

Duties include: Deep clean and maintain both homes, load/unload dishwasher, clean oven, refrigerator, etc. as needed, make beds, change bed linens, clean windows as needed, organizational projects as needed--cabinets, fridge, closets, etc., laundry and prepare guest rooms at suburban home when guests are coming in town. Client works from home and is very private so needs a candidate that understands this and is very discrete. The ideal candidate will be honest, reliable and quiet. 

Work days and hours: 

Option 1 (1 day a week): 1 full day to clean both the Chicago apartment (in the morning) and suburban home (in the afternoon). Mileage will be covered in between the two homes. Flexible on the day as long as it's not a Monday.

Duties include: Create and implement lesson plans with the 2 oldest children (baby can go in pack and play, bouncer or sit next to nanny while the children work), infant care (feeding, diapers, naps, etc.), feed dogs and let them in the yard as needed, prepare snacks and meals for kids, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities for kids, read books, sing songs, do arts and crafts, and tidy up common areas. Parents work from home. The ideal candidate will be structured, happy and professional. 

The children have some medical needs (youngest has an egg allergy and requires an epi-pen in case of emergency, middle child has an overheating issue (from warm temperature and/or activity) and oldest has the same overheating issue and a choking issue. 

Requirements of the Nanny:

• Must be up to date on all vaccinations including tdap, MMR, Flu and COVID
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get certified
• Must have at least 5 years of professional Nanny experience 
• An education degree is plus-but not a must! 

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (preferred) 35-39 hours per week:

Tuesday: 8am-5pm

Wednesday: 8am-5pm

Thursday: 8am-5pm

Friday: 8am-4pm

NOTE: Family can be flexible on the above scheduled if needed: 35-39 hours per week as long the added hours are Tuesday-Friday

Option 2 (Full-time) 40 hours per week:

Tuesday-Friday: 7:30am-5:30pm

Salary: BEFORE TAXES--To be discussed with Placement Counselor--Dependent on experience and/or degree

AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60647 (BUCKTOWN)

This kind family has 1 child: 6-year-old boy and is seeking an organized, proactive and active Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Child is in school during the day (gets out between 3:30-4:45pm depending on the day). The times where child is in school, Nanny will need to do household management tasks.  Duties include: tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, organizational projects (ex: closets, pantry, fridge, drawers, garage, etc.), run errands as needed, tidying up common areas/light housekeeping, pick up child from school, prepare snack for child, drive to/from activities as needed and play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with child, play outside, take to parks, playgrounds, etc., play sports, read books, etc. Family would love for someone who is very organized and who will enjoy taking on organizational projects in the home. The ideal candidate will be reliable, engaging and a self-starter. 

Schedule: 

Option 1: Monday-Friday: 2pm-6pm

Option 2: Monday-Friday: 1:30pm-5:30pm

Option 3: Monday-Friday: 1pm-5pm

NOTE: Some flexibility to help with occasional evenings/weekends would be a big plus!
